Shipping policy

Shipping Policy
At Danny’s Restaurant Furniture, every piece is built to order in our Los Angeles shop. Because our products are large, heavy, and custom made, shipping works differently than it does for stock goods. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Production Lead Time
Standard production time is approximately four (4) weeks from the date your order and all specifications are confirmed. Transit time is additional and is not included in the four-week estimate. Lead times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by material availability, order volume, or carrier schedules.
2. Shipping Methods
Smaller items such as table tops and table bases ship via FedEx or UPS Ground. Booths, banquettes, assembled tables, and multi-piece orders ship via LTL freight carrier. We select the method and carrier based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping is quoted at checkout or on your invoice based on the items ordered and the delivery ZIP code. Freight rates for oversized furniture are calculated by dimensional weight and freight class, not by order total. We ship to the 48 contiguous United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, contact us for a quote before ordering.
4. Freight Delivery — What Is Included
Freight shipments are delivered curbside. The carrier will bring your order to the curb or loading dock at the delivery address. Curbside delivery does not include:
Carrying items inside the building
Delivery up or down stairs
Unpacking, assembly, or installation
Removal of packaging materials
You are responsible for having enough people on site to receive and move your order. A booth or banquette can weigh several hundred pounds and typically requires two or more people.
5. Liftgate Service
If your delivery address does not have a loading dock or forklift, you will need liftgate service so the carrier can lower the shipment to ground level. Please tell us at the time of ordering. Liftgate service carries an additional fee. If a liftgate is required at the time of delivery and was not arranged in advance, the carrier may charge for it at delivery or return the shipment, and any resulting fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
6. Delivery Appointments
Freight carriers will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please provide a phone number and email that are monitored during business hours. Someone must be present at the scheduled time to receive and sign for the shipment. If the carrier cannot reach you or no one is available, redelivery and storage fees may apply and are the buyer’s responsibility.
7. Local Delivery and Will Call
We offer local delivery in the greater Los Angeles area on our own truck, quoted by distance and order size. Will call pickup at our shop at 2053 Sacramento St, Los Angeles, CA 90021 is available at no charge by appointment once your order is complete. Please bring a vehicle and enough help to load your order safely.
8. Inspecting Your Delivery — Important
Inspect your shipment before the driver leaves.
Count the pieces against the delivery receipt or bill of lading.
Look over all packaging for crushing, punctures, or tears.
If anything is damaged or missing, write it on the delivery receipt before you sign, and photograph the packaging and the damage.
A delivery receipt signed clean is the carrier’s proof that the shipment arrived in good condition, and freight claims cannot be filed against it. If you sign without noting damage, we may be unable to help. If damage is severe, you may refuse the shipment — note the reason on the receipt and contact us immediately.
Concealed damage not visible at delivery must be reported to us within five (5) business days with your order number and clear photos.
9. Delivery Address
Please provide a complete commercial address. We cannot ship freight to PO boxes. Residential and limited-access deliveries carry additional carrier fees. If an address is incorrect or incomplete and the shipment must be rerouted or returned, the buyer is responsible for the resulting charges.
10. Shipping Delays
Once your order leaves our shop, transit is in the hands of the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, carrier backlog, or other circumstances outside our control. Delays in transit do not entitle the buyer to cancel an order or receive a refund.
11. Title and Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer when the shipment is tendered to the carrier at our facility. We will assist you in filing a freight claim for damage that occurred in transit, provided it was properly documented at delivery under Section 8.
